**Men are here replacing part of the front porch floor today. The front porch that's directly in front of the large windows in our living room. The couch where I lay is directly under those windows. I don't enjoy work projects in my own house. I surely don't enjoy them when it's not my home, or when it's been falling to pieces the whole time we've been here and now we're getting ready to leave.
**Between the house and the baby, I had quite a bit of shopping to do and I've had to turn to the Internet to get it done. Needless to say, I've been keeping the UPS man hopping. I finally realized it was a little embarrassing for him to be bringing all these boxes while I wave from the couch. When he came for the third time last week I ran and hid.
Here is some of what's arrived, but the pile is missing one large box and several smaller things that have come USPS. I am finishing the ordering today and tomorrow so it's no longer hanging over my head. I greatly underestimated the amount of things I would still need to get for a 2nd baby. I also wrongly assumed that because we weren't buying lots of new furniture, we wouldn't need much for the house.
**While I do worry that the UPS man thinks I'm trifling, I'm loving the blue that's rolling in. I'm not buying any more clothes until I have a better idea of when he'll be arriving and what size he'll be. eBay is a dangerous place.
**I'm not one to keep a perfect house, and at any time you might find dust, dirt, or piles of items. Between pregnancy, bed rest, and the amount of stuff that keeps arriving (see above), I think I've reached my breaking point. The house keeps filling up, and pregnant me just needs to straighten, clean, and prepare. My goal this week is to work on one room a night, so that if Ned is packing on his own, things will halfway be organized. I am washing clothing, blankets, bedding, etc. as it arrives, but I'm also ready to pull out all the gear and get it cleaned up. I tell myself it's too early for all that, including installing the car seat.
**This guy has no problems with bed rest.
**I'm so tempted to pull out some of Avery's summer clothes that she has outgrown and sell them on eBay, but I haven't been able to bring myself to do it. I know I could make some money, so I don't know if it's because it's her things that I was so excited to buy for her, or that after all of this bed rest I'm still not ready to say we're done. My father says we're done, though.
**Tomorrow will be the last day to order from my Kelly's Kids show. Let me know if you need any help getting great clothes for your kids!
Happy Monday!

I feel funny too when the UPS man comes to much but I do tend to buy in batches and then stop! Have you been buying for Sam off Ebay? Let me know if you find any good sellers. I have a hard time finding things for Henry but no trouble at all buying stuff for Evie. You will be able to part with Avery's stuff soon. Start with the size 2 stuff and work your way down. As you begin making money, it will urge you to keep going. Bedrest tends to change perspective on more pregnancies - at least from my friends who have had to go on bedrest. Avery is going to LOVE Sam and I cannot wait to read her interview in a few months.
