Through the Rain

It's no secret that I've done some grumbling lately. And I've wondered how that has been received. I'm not asking for pity, I don't need judgement, and I'm not proclaiming to have anything Earth-shattering going on. I do appreciate the encouraging comments, no matter what you've been thinking. It's pretty rare that I put problems out there, but a year from now, when life has either calmed down or is on its ear because of something else, I want to remember these days. The living, remember?

Maybe because I've been teaching the water cycle, I've been comparing the latest events in our life to rain. We are certainly far from a flood, but days and days and drizzle will eventually wear you down.

Avery stayed home with Ned today, and in a quiet moment on the way to school, I heard this song.

Then twice today, I've seen references to this song.

Because of their similarities and the way they crossed my path, I thought I would share in case anyone else needed to hear.

Today I embraced my drizzle.
