Dear Santa (Avery Edition)

Below is Avery's letter and photo to Santa, appearing today in The Tidewater News. Each year I impatiently wait for the edition to be printed with all the letters. I used to look for all the children I babysat for and couldn't wait to be able to send in my child's letter one day. I know Avery will have much more say in her letter next year, and I can't wait to see what fun things she'll ask for. A little boy at the babysitter's, who is one year older than Avery, asked Santa for a football, muffins (John Deere muffins to be exact), and a toothbrush. I hope Avery's list next year is as comical and cost-efficient! Be sure to compare Avery's note to Santa with her father's.

Dear Santa,
Hi! It's me Avery! Thank you so much for the toys you left last year. I've done lots of growing since I sat on your lap. This year I am loving all the decorations and lights and am trying very hard to keep my hands off of them. Mama and Daddy say that I have been such a good girl this year, so I think it's ok to ask for a few more toys. I would like Bitty Baby, a Cozy Coupe, a farm set, a grocery cart, and my very own chair. More books would also be great because I'm bringing the same ones to Mama and Daddy to read over and over.

Please remember all the people who love me so much, and leave something special for Mama and Daddy, Lolli and Poppa, and Mimi and Grandaddy. Don't forget Jen-Jen who takes good care of me every day and all my buddies at her house. My pets Sammy, Dixie, and Felix deserve something nice this year too since they've tried to be very patient with me.

I can't wait to see you in Richmond, and I'm going to try to be so brave when I sit on your lap. We'll have cookies and Pepsi for you on Christmas Eve and some treats for the reindeer. Felix may be waiting for you in the fireplace so be sure not to step on him! Have a safe trip!

Love,
Avery

Love it! I can hardly wait to get home to read all the letters! Paisley's list is very similiar as she is getting all but one of the things Avery has ask for between Santa and a few family members! We have the same problem with Paisley bringing us the same books over and over...we mentioned that in our letter as well! What an ADORABLE picture of Miss Avery! Merry Christmas!
