The buggy is the reason my car doesn't get parked in the garage. I try not to hold that against it.

I'm afraid it won't be long before she is asking to drive. She actually sat in my lap while we rode and never made a peep. I was pretty nervous and felt like a horrible mother. I usually like to hold on but I had both hands on her. We stayed in our neighborhood where golf carts are allowed. It was nice and breezy and a great night for a ride. There was a wedding going on in the neighborhood, and the hosts were using their buggy to transport guests from their cars to the wedding. I think we may have confused the guests a bit when we didn't stop to offer them a ride. I was glad that the other buggy was out, because I was starting to feel a little redneck. You know, like maybe Avery needed some Mountain Dew in a baby bottle as we cruised in our camo ride.
The destination of our ride was the lot we purchased in the winter. Here is the view from the road.
This is another view from the road.
This is the view from the tree line looking toward the road. I should say right now that we will not be attempting to "keep up with the Jones's." We stroll pass the lot often, and in the back of my mind I know it's there. But last night as we rode around on it I got pretty excited as I showed Avery where her swing set will go one day. We have no definite plans of when we will build. We want to make as much profit on our house as we can, and that involves some improvement projects and the housing market turning around. We have been looking at house plans more and discussing the pros and cons of the two top picks for right now. We complain about the layout of our house but know we are very fortunate to have it. So, we're not in a big hurry. Until we break ground, I'll dream of decorating for Christmas, and Ned will dream of his shop...to hold the buggy of course.

Saw your comment about milk with Avery! Don't tell but I have a secret to get kiddos to drink their milk. Buy the Stoneyfield drinkable yogurt - mix it in the whole milk. Due this for a week or so and then start cutting back gradually! It worked like a charm with Evie!
