We bumped into Goofy as soon as we arrived. {This photographer could have used a lesson or two in focus.}
We had FastPass for Disney Junior-Live on Stage, but we were a little early, so we just walked around. We were still the first group in line with FastPasses, so we got to knock on the clubhouse door, say the password, and enter first. That gave us front row center seats on the floor. That also gave us a bit of a wait until the show started. Sam was not a fan of sitting and waiting. We let him walk because a worker said it was ok, and he tried his best to get around her to the steps. The audience was enjoying his show until he started using Duckie as a weapon and swinging it at the nice lady. We had to end the fun, which resulted in tears, so he and Ned went to the back. A little Toy Story on YouTube, and we were back in business for a fun show.
After the show, it was time for our FastPasses for Toy Story Midway Mania. We had to ride 2 and 2, and Ned still beat Avery and I even though he was shooting with his left hand while holding Sam in the car.
I really wanted the kids to meet Buzz and Woody, so we braved the 30 minute wait. It went by pretty quickly, and Sam never once complained to get down. Buzz and Woody of course took a break when we were next in line, but they were definitely worth it.
Next we saw Voyage of the Little Mermaid. We were pushing lunch at this point, and it was hectic getting in even with our FastPass, but I'm glad we saw it. Our biggest issue came when I thought Sam had lost the little Buzz he carried around the ENTIRE trip, but I found it in my seat.
Lunch was at Starring Rolls cafe, and it was probably my favorite counter service meal. Ned and I both got a delicious, huge turkey sandwich, chips, drink and big dessert for one of our credits. It is all outdoor seating but the weather was perfect. It was time to rest after that, but we had seen pretty much everything that interested the kids. We stopped for a few pictures on the way out.
Sam was "STUCK!" every time we waited for a bus. Every time.
After naps for everyone but Mama, it was time for Epcot. It was getting windy but was still a nice afternoon.
We walked through some of the countries when we got there, and then it was time for our princess dinner at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. We got to meet Belle as we walked in.
Our meal started with a cold buffet of Norwegian appetizers like shrimp, cheese, crackers, etc. Ned had a pork chop dish and I had stuffed mushroom pasta. We both enjoyed ours. Dessert was a shared tray of apple cake, mousse, and rice cream. Of course, the real point of the meal was the princesses. We met Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Ariel, and Snow White. Even while covered in pizza sauce, Sam still got love from Snow White.
We walked over to The Seas with Nemo and Friends. After the ride we walked around the aquarium as you exit.
It was getting a little chilly and windy, but everyone was much happier than they look.
Ned grabbed an ice cream sandwich and shared with the kids as we walked out. It was starting to sprinkle then and was very windy, but that was the only rain we saw. The drizzle stopped just long enough for us to get a picture of the ball all lit up at night.
