Asking me to pick my favorite dessert is like asking me to pick my favorite child. Who can choose?? Dessert is hands down my favorite thing to cook in the kitchen. I love to bake, and I love to eat. We are guilty of keeping desserts in the house a little too frequently, and with fall upon us, I wanted to share two of our seasonal favorites. Pumpkin Roll
Pumpkin roll is one of my all time favorites. I love pumpkin and I love cream cheese, so together you're bound to have a winner. My aunt always makes this for Thanksgiving and several years ago I got brave enough to try it. I still get some cracks every now and then, but it always tastes delicious.
Soft Pumpkin Cookies
Soft pumpkin cookies are probably the cookie winner in the Lankford household. Ned requests these all the time and has even been known to take them on hunting trips. They are delicious with or without the glaze. I lay on the glaze a little heavier than they show in the picture. They are quick and easy, and I plan on whipping some up for a pizza play date tomorrow night.
